WASHINGTON, D.C.  [Friday May.21.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Jason Mraz wants your food.

The singer/songwriter is making his away across the US in a special concert series that mixes music with food drives to help local communities. "The Tour of the Curbside Prophets" brings Mraz together with diverse artists for a powerful live experience. According to a press release, the shows are "inspired by Mraz's beginnings as a hard-working street musician." The concerts aim to create "a street corner atmosphere with Mraz 'busking' for the audience as a solo acoustic performer and inviting an array of fellow 'Curbside Prophets' to join him in entertaining the crowd." Singer/guitarist Raúl Midón, Hawaiian slack-key guitarist/vocalist Makana and DJ Bob Neck Snapp are among the artists to join Mraz.

Along with the music, Mraz is hosting the "(Never) Too Much Food" Food Drive. Food drives will be held at most concerts, and fans can help their local community by donating non-perishable goods. For more information, visit http://www.jasonmraz.com.
