by Krista Desens

LOS ANGELES, CA [Thursday May.20.2004] /Mix103FM.com/ -- It's doctor's orders. Maroon 5 drummer Ryan Dusick has been sidelined from the current tour.
Dusick must take a temporary break from playing with the band to heal his shoulder. The injury occurred from two years of constant touring, and Dusick's doctor prescribed rest and rehab to mend the hurt shoulder. In an official statement on the band's web site, Maroon 5 told fans, "It should be a quick and speedy recovery [for Ryan], and we wish him all the best." Until Dusick's ready to drum again, Matt Flynn will take over drumming duties for the band. Flynn has played with the B-52s and Gavin DeGraw.
