SPRINGFIELD, MO  [Thursday May.6.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Summerfest 2004 is Milwaukee, Wisconsin's huge 11-day music festival, featuring everything from alternative to zydeco on 12 different stages. The festival starts Thursday, June 24 and runs through Sunday July 4. This year, Australian band Jet is among the headliners. The chart-topping rock group will close the festivities when they take the stage at 10 p.m. on Independence Day.

Some of the other artists slated to appear at Summerfest include The Roots, The Darkness, Morris Day and The Time, The Donnas, Indigo Girls, Liz Phair, Paul Oakenfield, Cheap Trick and Los Lobos.
