DETROIT, MI  [Friday Feb.27.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Those of you who saw this year's Grammy Awards may have noticed something odd going on onstage during the presentation of the Best New Artist Award. As Evanescence singer Amy Lee began her acceptance speech, she was visibly startled by the appearance of the 50 Cent onstage, and confusedly asked, "Oh, what did I do?" 50 Cent might have jumped the gun by walking onstage without being announced, but he blames the Grammys.

"I feel like I got jerked at the Grammys because I'm aggressive," he said in a London interview. "I don't understand how (Evanescence) get best new artist. I will never go back to the Grammy Awards ever in my career."

It is unclear at this time if 50 Cent intends to produce only extremely crummy music from this point forward or if the rapper is simply boycotting the event.
