BURBANK, CA  [Monday Feb.2.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Word on the cyber-street is that OutKast were asked to perform at this year's Super Bowl but passed.

Apparently the duo had been contacted as to their availability to perform but it came to light that the folks at the Super Bowl really just wanted Andre 3000 to perform the hit "Hey Ya!".

This didn't go over well with either of them. Then the Super Bowl offered each member two minutes and that was when the negotiations came to a resounding, grinding halt.
