Amy Lee Backpedals
Evanescence Singer Issues Apology

by Dean Cameron

Evanescence
BURBANK, CA  [Sunday Jan.25.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Evanescence singer, Amy Lee, posted an apology regarding her comments on Cold's singer, Scooter Ward's stint in rehab. After announcing that former Cold guitarist, Terry Balsamo, was joining Evanescence as a permanent member, Lee said that Cold was breaking up because Ward was in rehab.

Ward fired back, saying that Lee was wrong; he was not in rehab and the Cold was not breaking up.

On the Evanescence web site, Amy Lee said that she's not used to people paying so much detail to every little thing she says and said she has no right to talk about another band.

Cold needs a guitar player.
