BURBANK, CA  [Tuesday Jan.20.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- If you take a gander at the Net Music Charts and any other chart you get a chance to see, you might notice that there are a plethora of women at the top.

Beyonce Knowles, Dido, Sheryl Crow, Evanescence, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears and No Doubt are all topping the charts and have been for a while.

The Gwen Stefani fronted band, No Doubt, is spread across four charts; alternative, pop, hot ac/adult and sales and, like Sheryl Crow, the chart success is based on a greatest hits package cleverly titled "The Singles".

Crow's "The Very Best of Sheryl Crow" hit is a remake of "The First Cut is the Deepest".

Gwen Stefani is currently in the studio making a solo album while other members of the band work on other projects.
