BURBANK, CA  [Tuesday Jan.20.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Amy Lee, singer for Evanescence has laid to rest the conjecture and has named the replacement for departed guitarist Ben Moody.

Even though Terry Balsamo, guitarist from Cold, had been touring with the band to finish out their scheduled dates, many believed that Wes Borland would be the permanent member of the Arkansas based band.

Not so fast, Mister Borland.

Before their final show of a Down Under tour, Lee told an Australian web site that it would, in fact, be Balsamo taking over the six string duties in Evanescence.

Cold's Terry Balsamo is now a permanent member of Evanescence.

We can all rest easy.
