BURBANK, CA  [Sunday Jan.11.2004]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- He abandoned the sinking Limp Bizkit ship and may climb aboard Evanescence just as that band is about to hit the stratosphere.

Rumors abound, but one thing is for certain (besides death and taxes, obviously) and that is that Wes Borland will be working on the next Evanescence studio album in some capacity. Singer Amy Lee has confirmed that the former Limp Bizkit guitarist will be at least co-writing with her on the follow-up to the band's smash debut album. "Wes is a friend and we're talking about writing together on the next record." said Lee when asked about the Borland rumors.

Lee's long time friend and guitarist, Ben Moody, dropped out of the band last Rocktober and Terry Balsamo, former guitarist for "Cold" has joined Evanescence at least until their current tour is complete.
