BURBANK, CA  [Monday Dec.29.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- March 27 will see rockers 3 Doors Down playing a benefit concert in Mobile, Alabama, to benefit Gulf Coast children's charities.

Though the band was formed in Mississippi, two of the band members have homes in the Mobile area. One of them, guitarist Matt Roberts, said the show "is a very special thing for us because it's always great to give back to this city."

The outdoor show, which will be followed by a fireworks display, will be at Cooper Riverside Park and is hoped to draw at least 30,000 people.
