Crow In Crow's Nest To Defeat Pirates
Singer to speak out against p2p

by Dean Cameron

Sheryl Crow
BURBANK, CA  [Wednesday Dec.17.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- (A pause while you catch your breath from that headline).

Okay.

Sheryl Crow is taking part in an anti-piracy campaign to encourage music fans to download music through legitimate channels like iTunes and, ironically, Napster.

Joining the singer in the campaign will be Pharrell Williams, Mandy Moore, Jason Mraz, Missy Elliott, P. Diddy, 3 Doors Down, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J and some sad guy from Staind. The first advertisements will appear in Billboard magazine. Beyond that is anyone's guess.
