Clay Aiken missing from Grammy list.

by Dean Cameron

Clay Aiken
BURBANK, CA  [Monday Dec.15.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- If you had a lot of time on your hands and cared about these sorts of things, you'd notice that, even after going double platinum and having the Billboard Bestselling Single of the Year, Clay Aiken was not nominated for one single, solitary Grammy Award.

Maybe it's because the bestselling song was a cover of the Simon and Garfunkel classic "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" or maybe it's because the folks who decide these things are just waiting for American Idol winner Ruben Studdard's album to fill some artistic void they feel is missing from Aiken's work.

Maybe caring about these things is unimportant.

Then again, maybe not.
