LOS ANGELES, CA [Friday Dec.12.2003] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Clay Aiken, runner-up on American Idol, seems to be on his way to outselling the winner of the series, Ruben Studdard.
Aiken's debut album, Measure Of A Man has sold nearly two million copies in the US, incredibly selling 613,000 copies in its first week of release as well.
Studdard, who beat Aiken by 130,000 votes on American Idol, released his single on the same day as Aiken in June, and his debut album "Soulful" hits the stores this week.
Some say that Aiken has gotten the first last laugh, by outselling Studdard, but others point out that there is still plenty of time for Studdard to trounce Aiken's sales.
Most Audioslave fans, however, don't care either way. Ann, however, cares a whole bunch!
Thanks!
