So Happy [Not] Together
Split in group working out for everyone

by

Evanescence
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Nov.19.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Although just a few days ago, representatives for eTracks band Evanescence were downplaying the impact of guitarist Ben Moody flying back home in the midst of the group's European tour, and claiming that a soured personal relationship was not the reason for Moody's departure, it appears that the split is a permanent one.

Singer Amy Lee said Sunday that although she'd had no contact with Moody, she'd heard he was much happier, and reiterated that the rest of the band was happier as well. Describing the past as an "unhealthy situation," Lee commented that she'd been "talking to a lot of people" about future collaborations with the band. Cold guitarist Terry Balsamo will be joining the band for tours in mid-December. Another candidate for the guitarist gig is former Limp Bizkit player Wes Borland, who very recently shelved the band (Eat the Day) for which he'd left Limp Bizkit.
