LITTLE ROCK, AR  [Monday Nov.17.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Eyebrows naturally raised when Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody left the group's European tour last month without warning. However, a spokesperson for the band says that the reason for Moody's departure was not, in fact, due to a breakup with the eTracks group's singer, Amy Lee, as indicated on a report on teenmusic.com.

The teenmusic.com report, denounced as "highly unprofessional" by the Evanescence spokesperson, claims that Lee and Moody had an on-and-off relationship. It also said that Lee called Moody "very unpredictable," and said he "has some issues." The report also quoted Lee as saying that there was "no way of knowing what he'll do from one day to the next." The group will be starting a US tour on November 21; no word yet as to whether Moody with join the group for the tour or not.
