[Friday Sep.19.2003]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The guys in No Doubt are up to their necks in their side projects, so when it come time to record a new track for their upcoming Best Of CD, they decided on a cover.

The NMC eCharting band has covered Talk Talk's "It's My Life."

"Instead of trying to go in and spend time writing and writing and writing, 'cause we're not doing that right now, we're taking a 'break,' " Gwen Stefani told MTV. "we thought it was about time we did a cover song. We've done covers live but we've never done a cover and recorded it and put it out as a single."

The collection will drop on November 11. Also keep your eyes peeled for a video for the song.
