NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Oct.26.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Mariah Carey says her new fragrance, M by Mariah Carey, goes well with her upcoming album, because she worked on them at the same time. She said it's a very similar creative process.

During her visit to TRL, she also explained why her new studio album's release date has been pushed back, because December just isn't a good month for a worldwide release. She also wants to put out a couple of singles before the album drops.

She did let slip one hint about the album's content, saying she'd just had a hot session with "somebody very popular" in Miami, but wouldn't reveal any more than that.
