DeGeneres was so stressed about an issue that had grabbed headlines recently, regarding her problems with a dog adoption agency, that she decided at the last minute to take a long weekend out of the public eye.

Unfortunately, Keith Urban and the studio audience still showed up expecting a show to take place. Instead of turning around and leaving, Urban chose to stay and play a concert.
