Homeland Security Confiscates Songs

by Victoria Smart

Death Cab For Cutie
TORONTO, CANADA  [Wednesday Oct.17.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Death Cab for Cutie's guitarist and producer Chris Walla had a hard drive full of songs confiscated by Homeland Security when it was being couriered over the Canadian border. He doesn't know why, and doesn't know how to get it back. He says the solo album he's working on is very politically charged.

At least, Walla says, he has the original tapes and can continue working. And yes, a new Death Cab for Cutie album is also in the works - they have six songs so far.
