STOCKTON, CA  [Tuesday Oct.9.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Avril Lavigne will headline the December 1 Jingle Ball at the Stockton Arena. This will be the first festival performed at the venue since its opening in 2005. Past Jingle Ball shows have been held at the Arco Arena in Sacramento. Last year a woman died after a radio show contest for Jingle Ball tickets, in which contestants were to drink as much water as possible without urinating.

One Republic and Sean Kingston will join Lavigne in performing at the Jingle Ball.
