LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Sep.14.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger may have been a Black Eyed Pea if it hadn't been for her contract with girl-group Eden's Crush.

The singer was offered the job on the same night that Fergie was granted the gig.

Scherzinger says, "We had some radio shows together and he (will.i.am) actually met me and Fergie on the same night and he asked me to join the Black Eyed Peas...I wasn't able to."
