LOS ANGELES, CA [Thursday Sep.13.2007] /Mix103FM.com/ -- My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way says that the group will be taking time off "to really evaluate what the band is, to reshape it yet again."
According to detnews.com, MCR fans may not hear a new album for quite a while. Way says, "I think it will be a couple of years before there's another record. I would say about 2009."
In the meantime, the star is getting ready to debut his six-part Dark Horse comic "The Umbrella Academy" September 19th. Way describes the comic as "The Doom Patrol" meets "The Royal Tenenbaums."
