The star blames his hated for gadgetry on his days playing with Nirvana. He says, "Being a drummer for so long, I didn't have to deal with electricity, so I'm practically Amish."

Grohl owns a BlackBerry, but says, "I don't know how to use (it). Most technology seems like a leash to me."
