Amy Winehouse Subject To Drug Search
Hotel guests complain of strange odors

by Laura Katz

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Sep.7.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Amy Winehouse's hotel room in St Lucia was subject to a series of drug searches after guests reported "strange smells" emanating from her room.

The singer was taking a much-needed vacation in the Carribean with her husband following a recent collapse.

The hotel failed to find any illegal substances, reports Starpulse.com. A source tells British tabloid The Sun: "With their reputation it was no surprise management gave the room a thorough check daily. They would have been kicked out if there was evidence of drug use."
