MUNICH, GERMANY  [Thursday Sep.6.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- World Entertainment News Network (www.wenn.com) reports that rapper Snoop Dogg is slated to host the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany.

The event will take place at Munich's Olympia Halle on November 1st. Snoop says of his uscoming appearance, "I've called up the homeys from East to West and I guarantee it's gonna be off tha chain, ya dig?"

The star was supposed to host MTV Australia Video Music Awards in April, but immigration officials didn't allow him to enter the country due to past criminal convictions.
