Tim McGraw
NASHVILLE, TN  [Friday Aug.31.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Billboard Magazine reports in its September 1st issue that the most prolific group of developing artists in their study of Nielsen SoundScan sales belongs to the class of 1994.

Heading that list is country superstar Tim McGraw with cumulative sales of 34,236,000, besting Dave Matthews Band in second place at 27,069,000. McGraw accounted for almost 10% of the total of 345.6 million accumulated sales of all acts who broke through that year.

McGraw's label has never participated in record club programs, nor has McGraw issued multiple album discs in achieving this distinction. Other acts rounding out the top 5 included Green Day (3rd), Faith Hill (4th) and Outkast (5th). Carrie Underwood Invites Fans Along for a Carnival Ride
