Panic! Strikes At Carling Weekend
Bottling scenario gets revisited

by Laura Katz

Panic! At The Disco
READING, ENGLAND  [Monday Aug.27.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- It's happened again - a member of Panic! At The Disco was hit by a bottle flung onstage during their performance at Carling Weekend: Reading Festival on August 25th.

Last year frontman Brendon Urie was knocked out for a moment after a "bottling". This year bassist Jon Walker was the one who got hit. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the band managed to enjoy their stint despite the unruly fan.

Guitarist Ryan Ross says, "We were quite scared for the first four songs but after that it calmed down. But although we had the bottling last year, we actually really enjoyed the festival. It was biggest gig of our lives and the time and the biggest crowd we'd ever played to."

Walker says of this year's incident, "A bottle shaved my head, but I was happy to take one for the band."
