NEW YORK, NY  [Monday Aug.27.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- A security guard got 'up close and personal' with Coldplay's Chris Martin at a screening for his wife Gwyneth Paltrow's new movie "Good Night."

Martin was trying to enter the New York City theatre without being noticed, but was soon stopped by the guard, who then reportedly "manhandled" him.

According to the New York Daily News, "One security guard, who apparently isn't a Coldplay fan, manhandled Chris when he tried to sneak by the waiting mob on the red carpet."
