Winehouse's Label Says They'll Sue Over "Frank"
Universal wants to stop illegal Amy imports in the US

by Laura Katz

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Aug.15.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Amy Winehouse's record label says they will sue US record stores for selling illegal copies of her debut album,
"Frank."

Universal was going to release "Frank" in November, following the success of Winehouse's smash-hit record "Back In Black," which recently went platinum.

But according to Starpulse.com, the high-demand for
"Frank" prompted many record retailers to start selling illegally imported copies. Sales are numbering around 18,000 so far.
