by Laura Katz

LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday Aug.7.2007] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Gnarls Barkley's DJ Danger Mouse has collaborated with the
London indie-funk band The Shortwave Set on the album "Replica Sun Machine," sparking some major interest from record labels.
The unsigned band hooked up with the DJ after reading in NME magazine that he was a big fan of theirs.
The album, which should be out some time next year, also features a guest appearance from John Cale of The Velvet Underground, as well as a 24-piece orchestra.
