by Laura Katz

Taking Back Sunday
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Aug.6.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Taking Back Sunday drummer Mark O'Connell has left Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour after suffering a back injury.

The rocker got an MRI earlier this week after discovering he had herniated disc. Former Matchbook Romance drummer Aaron Stern will be taking over drumming duties for the TBS until O'Connell recovers.

He said in a statement, "I'm really sorry. I feel like I'm letting people down. I'm hoping to feel better and be back as soon as possible."
