LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jun.11.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- No Doubt is hitting the studio this July to record their first new album in six years, reports Rollingstone.com.

Here's the hitch: frontwoman Gwen Stefani is on tour through the Fall. The band's got a fix though, according to drummer Adrian Young. "The three of us are going to lay down some songs with music only," he says. "When she gets done with the tour we'll all be there to do it. We've probably got four albums worth of ideas demoed."

What can fans expect from the new record? Young says the new songs are "unlike anything else we ever made – they're all over the place stylistically."

Young says the new album should surface sometime in 2008.
