Carrie Underwood Offers Up Amazing Album Sales
Likely to hit big next week too
by Neil Haislop

NASHVILLE, TN [Monday May.21.2007] /Mix103FM.com/ -- In all the excitement of the ACM Awards this week, a look at the SoundScan country albums chart provides one clear reason why Carrie Underwood took the Top Female Vocalist award and Album of the Year from the ACM.
After 78 weeks on the chart Carrie's debut album, Some Hearts, roared back into the #1 spot with over 29 percent increase in scans up to 56,723 units bringing the CD's total sales to just under 5.5 million. She also moved up to #8 on the Top 200 chart. Scary thing is, after her ACM wins, she's likely to increase big again next week.
