LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday May.11.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- MTV reports that Green Day/Simpsons rumors are true, and that the band is definitely making a cameo in the upcoming animated movie.

Simpson's creator Matt Groening said,"Green Day is in the movie - I will publicly acknowledge that Green Day are in the movie. They're really good sports and I think we both honor them and Simpson-ize them. You can take that however you want. They're really nice guys."
