NEW YORK, NY  [Wednesday May.9.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects is launching a side project called The Gnomans.

According to NME.com, the frontman says that the band came out of a T-shirt line that he designed along with pal Brian Robinson.

Both the band and the T-shirt line will make their debut at a concert at Marquee nightclub in New York City on May 16. Ritter says he isn't sure if either project will ever turn a profit, but that doesn't seem to bother him. He said, "This whole thing really hasn't been thought through. If I wanted to make money, I definitely would be approaching it differently."
