NASHVILLE, TN  [Friday Apr.27.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Raconteurs are back in the studio, putting together their follow-up album to "Broken Boy Soldier."

According to NME.com, the band has already written 12 songs for the upcoming project, buckling down at Blackbird Studio in Nashville.

White said of the record, "We don't know if we're going to finish but we wanted to get everything down before we got busy. We have a lot bigger ideas about certain things, so we will see how far we get."

In the meantime, The White Stripes are readying their latest, "Icky Thump," which is set to be released in June.
