LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Apr.25.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Bono, Gwen Stefani, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Earth, Wind & Fire, Il Divo, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Josh Groban, Jack Black, Helen Mirren, Quincy Jones, Carrie Underwood and Annie Lennox are all taking part in "Idol Gives Back," a star-studded fundraising special airing tonight on FOX.

The program hopes to benefit relief programs for youth affected by extreme poverty. Ellen DeGeneres is hosting the 2-hour event, which will feature live performances from the "Idol" stage as well as the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

According to the show's official website, "the remaining "Idol" finalists will sing "life anthem" songs about compassion and hope." Included is a song written by Bono and Dave Stewart that takes on the issue of AIDS in Africa, titled "American Prayer."
