"I Need You" Shipped To Radio
Tim and Faith make it happen on new single
by Neil Haislop

NASHVILLE, TN [Wednesday Apr.25.2007] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Tim McGraw's new single "I Need You," the duet with Faith Hill, has been officially shipped to radio as the second release from the # 1 album "Let It Go." Tim tells us the first time they sang the song together was on his NBC TV Special last year. "Faith didn't even know the song, she had the lyrics on a piece of paper on the floor," he says when the intimate scene of them trying on the song for the first time was taped. It was also a key song on last year's tour, and Tim says it'll kick off Soul2Soul 2007 this year. McGraw says one of the toughest jobs he has is finding suitable duet material to record. "Yea, we sang it on tour last year acoustically, and it's hard to find songs to do as a duets that aren't cheesey or don't just really offer much or take another step forward as a duet song. But, that one I'd held onto for about 2 and a half years and when I first heard it I knew I was going to cut it and the more I heard it I knew Faith and I were going to cut it," Tim reveals
