NASHVILLE, TN  [Thursday Apr.19.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Carrie Underwood was surprised to get the new Cosmopolitan Cover on stands now, since that spot is usually taken by super models and A-List actors or singers.

Well she's been A-list country from the git-go and we'd put her up against any model we've seen lately in a designer dress. Still Carrie was surprised.

"I was surprised when they asked me to do it because I still think of myself as just...I don't know. I'm just a newbie! They started showing me examples of, you know, things to do and ways to look and stuff like that. And Jennifer Lopez was one of the example covers that they showed me. And I was just kind of like, 'Wow! To have somebody that's so in the public eye and so ridiculously famous...[and] they're telling me I'm like in the same company.' So it was pretty awesome."
