NASHVILLE, TN  [Wednesday Apr.18.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have invited Lori McKenna to join the "Soul2Soul Tour 2007," as a special guest.

The tour will give McGraw and Hill's legions of fans the opportunity to discover for themselves why country's First Couple is so enamored of McKenna - a plumber's wife and stay-at-home mother of five from the tiny town of Stoughton, MA, who was thrust into the limelight when Hill included three of McKenna's songs on her 2005 Number One album Fireflies, including the poignant single "Stealing Kisses."

FAITH says she discovered Lori when Missy Gallimore brought her a McKenna song. Faith had already finished her 2005 Fireflies album, but slipped back into the studio to record her material. "I just said to Missy, I've got to hear everything this person has ever written, and so I listenened to Lori's material went back into the studio without telling anybody and kinda just didn't want to, I didn't want to run across any resistance because I felt so passionate about this material."

Tim obviously became a McKenna fan too since he's signed her to his Stylesonic Record label and is pleased with her first project with them. He says, "I can't wait for people to hear her record because it's an incredible record."
