LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Apr.17.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Lily Allen has bailed out on a major portion of her US tour.

Ever the jokester, Allen said that the reason she was cancelling "is because my mummy and daddy are very rich, and I have never been in a position where I have never actually had to do any hard work before."

The star wrote on her MySpace page, "I am not falling apart at the seems, I am not suffering with exhaustion, I am not pregnant, and I am not going to rehab. I will be here in America, promoting the album and also starting to write the second album, which I am beyond excited about."

Allen recently played a special KCRW radio benefit concert in Los Angeles along with The Shins, Cold War Kids and Travis.
