NASHVILLE, TN  [Friday Apr.13.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The last time Rascal Flatts' appeared on American Idol was in the show's fourth season finale in 2005.

They appeared as Carrie Underwood's musical guest on the same night she won the contest. The trio is now set to perform their smash "My Wish" on the American Idol- IDOL GIVES BACK 2-hour special on Wednesday, April 25.

The band will take a break from recording their album, due out Sept. 25, to make the trip to Los Angeles.
