LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Apr.13.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Nominations for the fifth annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods have been announced, and My Chemical Romance and Iron maiden are heading the pack.

My Chemical Romance is up for Best Album, "The Black Parade" and Best Video, for "Welcome to the Black Parade." Iron Maiden is also up for Best Album, "A Matter of Life and Death" and Best UK Band.

Other nominees include Velvet Revolver for Best International Band, Nine Inch Nails for Best Live Band, and Bullet For My Valentine for Best UK Band.
