Live Earth May Get Booted Out Of Washington
Republican senators to blame?

by Laura Katz

Red Hot Chili Peppers
WASHINGTON, D.C.  [Monday Apr.2.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The US Live Earth concert may be forced to change venues and may even be held in a different city.

The concert for climate change was supposed to take place in Washington's national Mall, but according to contactmusic.com, Republican senators have quietly stymied the operation.

More than two billion people are expected to watch the global concert event, to be held on 7/07/07, with artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, and Jon Bon Jovi slated to perform. In addition to the US, shows will take place in Brazil, Shanghai, Japan, Johannesburg, London and Sydney.
