LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Mar.21.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Shaffer Chimere Smith, a.k.a. Ne-Yo, has revealed the inspiration for writing the Rihanna track "Unfaithful."

According to Teenmusic.com, it was the break-up of his aunt's relationship that made him pen the track. Ne-Yo said, "When I wrote Unfaithful, I just remembered when my auntie broke up with (her man) Troy."

The "So Sick" singer will be releasing his sophomore album "Know Me" on April 24th.
