ATLANTA, GA  [Tuesday Mar.20.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Nickelback had to postpone their Friday show in Atlanta after singer Chad Kroeger strained his vocal chords.

The band made a statement on their website saying, The fans are especially good to us here and we want to make sure they get the full Nickelback show."

According to MTV, the gig has been rescheduled for Thursday, with the original tickets being honored.

Supporting act Three Days Grace will play the new date, but no news on whether Breaking Benjamin will make the gig.
