TORONTO, CANADA  [Monday Mar.19.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Smashing Pumpkins have joined the line-up for Toronto's 2007 Virgin Festival, set for September 8-9 on Toronto Island.

The band will be headlining the first night, with Bjork taking over for the second night. Other artists on the bill include The Killers, Interpol, Amy Winehouse, Jamie T., Paolo Nutini and Tokyo Police Club.

The Vancouver leg of the V festival will take place in May at Thunderbird Stadium, and will feature the Killers, My Chemical Romance, Billy Talent, Metric, Hot Hot Heat and AFI.
