"Shock Value" Release Pushed Back Until April 3rd
Timbaland wanted to do "some last minute polishing"

by Laura Katz

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Mar.15.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The release of "Shock Value," Timbaland's new solo project, has been pushed back to April 3rd.

The producer wanted to put some finishing touches on the album, which features collaborations with Justin Timberlake, The Hives, Nelly Furtado, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls, Fall Out Boy, and the legendary Sir Elton John.

Timbaland said, "I wanted to make sure this thing was ready to drop, and pushing it back a week gave me time to do some last minute polishing. Look at all these people on Shock Value...this isn't a dj compilation, it's a greatest hits album."

The artist is currently appearing as a special guest on the North American leg of Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveShow World Tour.
