Gnarls, Knowles And Blige No-Shows at Soul Train Awards
Hudson honored with entertainer of the year

PASADENA, CA  [Wednesday Mar.14.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The stars were supposed to be shining over the weekend at the 2007 Soul Train Awards in Pasadena, California, but 8 of the 10 winners in the competitive categories didn't bother to show up.

Those on the no-show list included Gnarls Barkley, who won best R&B single (group, band, duo) for their hit "Crazy," and Beyonce Knowles, who went in with three nods, but came away with one win for best R&B/soul single, female for "Irreplaceable." Soul queen Mary J. Blige was also M.I.A. She won best R&B/soul album, female for "The Breakthrough."

Jennifer Husdon made it to the ceremony. The star was honored with the 2007 Sammy Davis Jr. Award for entertainer of the year.

The show will air in national syndication the week of March 17-25. Check your local listings for dates and times.
