LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Feb.26.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and were "up in smoke" last week while dining with a large group of friends at Dolce restaurant in Hollywood.

Patrons began complaining that marijuana smoke was coming in from the patio area, where Pete, Ashlee and their 'buds'(pun intended) happened to be sitting.

No one actually saw anyone smoking, but according to TMZ.com, a staff member of the restaurant asked the group to put out whatever was causing the smoke, and they did.

Maybe they were trying to work up an appetite.
